Very well vuilt, does the job it was made to do! (Munkeh 5/30/2011)

Плюсы: I previously had an 8 AA battery power pack that screwed on to the bottom of the camera, that was OK, but got in the way if you wanted to do portrait shots.
I got this to replace it to go with my Nikon SB800 Flashgun.
The build quality is very good, nothing is marked or unfinished, everything is made to a high quality.
The battery holds it's charge, I used it fully charged and after 6 hours of continuous use, it had only gone down 1 LED light.
The power pack is a life saver, using it without, I would typically get through 3 packs of AA batteries per music event and now I can last with one as the power pack takes most of the load away from the AA cells.
Out of 250 shots I think I got 3 that were under exposed due to the flash not recycling quick enough.
The pack is light to wear on a belt, no need to use a photographers belt if you are only wearing this.
The cord from the unit to the flash is well made and chunky enough to feel well made.
Good packaging, retail boxed.

Минусы: The unit isn't exactly small, it is about the same size as my Nikon D300 + The Grip in height, I thought this would be a problem but it's not that noticeable on your waist.
The cord, although well made, could do with being a little more flexible so it is easier to hold the camera with the unit on your waist and the camera stretched above your head.

Прочее: If you can, I would get this in black, that green just advertises it to be nicked!
It is a nice matte finish so won't get marked easily.
